Robert Hamilton joined Frost & Associates as an attorney in July 2017. Prior to joining the firm, he was the managing attorney of the Low-Income Taxpayer Clinic at MidPenn Legal Services in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. While at MidPenn, Robert assisted clients in resolving their federal and state income tax debt, and provided representation in IRS audits and appeals. He also conducted educational events and seminars about issues affecting low-income taxpayers, and appeared on local radio and TV programs to promote the services available to taxpayers facing IRS collection action or audits.
Robert also practiced law as an associate for two Harrisburg area law firms, where he specialized in estate planning and administration, tax planning and preparation, bankruptcy and real estate law.
Robert earned his Juris Doctor from Widener University School of Law in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania in 2008. During Law School, Robert served as an associate and senior staff member of the Widener Law School, and was awarded the Distinguished Service Award for his efforts as an editor and writer for the Journal. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from Pennsylvania State University, University Park, in 2004.
